Nigeria Arise : A Poem by Maduka Collins Smart.

Crd: en

Arise, Oh my father land arise!
From the slavery of foul leadership
I beseach thee
Arise oh that formally acclaimed giant of Africa.

From the shackles of economic backtikism
I beckon on thee
From the continuous rape on democracy,
I plead thee, arise!

Why have you crown yourself with self  bounded statemen
Instead of Patriotic bound statemen?
58 years of Independence or
58 years of dependence?
Don't allow thy subjects behold the shame of 2020, without that great vision of 2020

If dead men do cry
Zik will surely be in pool of tears
If dead men do cry
Marculay will be swimming in a pool of regrets,
That that, which they fought for
Has become a failed state

I beckon on you, oh arise
hat
Small state shall not call you a failed state again.
Arise oh! That formal acclaimed giant of Africa.
