FIVE MINUTES ECSTASY COULD BE DANGEROUS

We often played in the mother's bed whenever she wasn't around. The joy of it all was that we always abandoned the food kept for practice and us our own cooking. Her mother's Brother was the landlord of my mother's Restaurant. Smiles...we didn't go much in naughty. We knew nothing much then. The joy of it all was that we always abandoned the food kept for practice and us our own cooking.

Amaka and I were age mates. She had two sisters. We all played on such sound big bed. We rode tyres through the serene streets, and I would often abandon my father's shop to play with her. It was a lovely childhood.

Circumstances demarcated us. It became obvious that I would be living in the boarding house for my secondary School education. Also, the family (the mother gave birth to her before marrying another man) would be relocating to Lagos.

We all lost contact. I sincerely forgot her.

I finished my secondary school successfully. I'm Currently pursuing a degree in a University. One Could imagine how many years that had went by already. I never knew if it was circumstances or fate; we reunited last year after some long years. We talked so much about our past, our current situations and most importantly our future. She calls me lawyer because that has always been what I wanted to be from childhood. Even when I told her that luck felled out on me, she said, "that's your own business. You're our Barrister."

I felt bad that I have gone too far, base on our stories. I have had a sound stress free secondary education that stood so tall to hers and the big one is that I wrote jamb once and gained admission from a prestigious University. She said she wished to be in my shoes. At least I have a mother who toils to make sure that I'm educated. I have a father. She coined it all as I listened, raptured in enormous pity.

"Ben, those that have parents that could care for them should thank God," she had said and waited for my mother to enter the kitchen before she continued. "I wish I have a mother like you. I have everything to be like this. I paid my weac and Ss3 school fees. Go and ask how much school fees cost in Lagos. I did everything doable to get the money. My mother didn't contribute anything. I wrote it and passed. I wasn't in school for years oh. You know your father, but they said I am a bastard. They are not wrong because I never called anyone my father. All my mother's brothers refused to train me. Do I blame them? I'm not their responsibility. I will get Education and as well get good life."

Her story was so heart peeling, yet I was able to hold myself. I asked her many questions to know if she truly has the will to prosper. She was ready as always. My amii hasn't change.

"I have a plan, but you must come back tomorrow. I will be heading to Awka for a political function with a friend of mine," I told her, leaving truly for the function.

"You're also connected to politicians? Chineke. Olisa aburo si kwa Tata"

We laughed.

She came back the following day, and we decided not to have the conversation in my mother's Restaurant.

I advised her to start preparing for jamb even when she is not sure of sponsorship. I have advised some people to do so and when they gained admission, their people had no option than to look for money. I knew hers wouldn't be different because the family is Rich to some extent. The plan was for her to write a jamb and based on her score; we would know what course to settle for. She would also write UNN post Utme and if she gains admission, I would start talking to the grandfather on the need to train her. TrulyAnambrarians in our side doesn't joke with it, when their daughters gain admission from UNN. Their names change instantly to Lionesses. It will workI told her.

"But I have no money olisa. I returned from Lagos empty handed. My mother spoilt my future but all is well," she cried. I knew there was more to it. She wasn't too open, yet I trust myself when it comes to cross examination. I knew I would still ask her some hundreds of questions to make sure I wasn't being eroded in emotions.

My mother spoilt my future but all is well," I can be able to help with the two exams. I think that's the best I can do."

She thanked me and left. We were waiting for jamb to commence registration when It all came out.

began to notice that she is getting more beautiful every day. Her breasts looked so attractive; big and tall. TrulyI like girls of such stature. Smiles. Within some few days that I returned after our first meeting, I realized that the buttocks were big as well. Her hips increased. Wow. God seize this temptation. I genuinely wanted to help this girl. Don't lead me into temptation.

We didn't get to talk because of time. I left school for anambra to Cast my vote and as well help my party to deliver our candidates. I worked as my party's agent. I left Anambra after the election was cancelled and returned when it was rescheduled.

I was at breakfast when she passed and denied me 'good morning'. I was surprised and angry. Why would she pass me without greetings? May be she was avoiding me but I did nothing wrong to her. TrulyI rarely give out my numbers. I refused to give her my main line but encouraged her to text me more. I prefer texting to call. I truly do not take calls serious.

"Our Lagos big girl don carry bele. People would be acting as if their parts no dey for markets," one of our customers said. I was shocked to the bone marrow. In fact, the driver of my brain had an accident. I went to mum and asked her if it was true. She laughed.

"The person you are trying to help her future has chosen a brighter one. So you didn't know before? If the relationship between you two had grown to a pointI would have stopped her from coming here before she would hold you by the trousers and make you a father"

I was bittered. I began to realize what she said about the mother. Everyone is only interested to give a negative side of the pregnancy. Truly she is a wore, they said. I do not know exactly, but I knew her mother. She is not a good woman even though I haven't heard her own side of the story.
I knew her mother didn't play her roles well. Taking your daughter to Lagos and allowing her to care for herself, what did you expect? Not training your child in school because she collects money from some guys is never a good mark of responsible Parenthood. Amaka is not innocent of her stupidity but bad training pushed her into it. Parents should be equal to their tasks.

wish her best in life. Pregnancy can't stop her dreams if she actually owns any.

In this long race Dear, I shall be counting on you for we all know that success is sacrosanct.
