FASA DECIDE 2018

The long race ended as the UNECO announced the winners of FACULTY OF ART STUDENTS ASSOCIATION 2018 election. The election which was conducted by UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA ELECTORAL COMMISSION (UNECO), started by 7:00 am on 15 June 2018 and came to conclusion with the announcement of results by 5:00 pm. The faculty of art officer prior to announcing the winners of the election, admonished the contestants who lost the mandate of Nigerian students to believe that they have taken a bold step. He also urged them to accept and respect the mandate of the Nigerian students and also contest again next year.

According to A heavy pen reporter, the students who were around when the result was announced celebrated the out come of it and sheered up the electoral officers, the Dean student's affairs, the Dean faculty of art, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka security officers and other important personnel for allowing votes of the Nigerian students to prevail. A heavy pen media crew had interaction with the Vice president elect, Her Excellency Umejiaku Vera Uche, Director of social elect, Hector and others. They thanked the students for coming out from their various hostels and lodges just to give them their mandate. They pledge to uphold the mandate giving to them by the students of Faculty of Art and work hard for a better FASA.
